All our levels follow the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) and Learn to Skate USA
curriculum and requirements.
Learn to Skate - Snowplow Sam
Two sessions of 6 group lessons designed for skaters with no prior experience. Skaters will build confidence on the ice while learning the basic skills of skating.
Each session includes 1 group practice a week for a period of 6 weeks.
Session 2 also includes participation on dress reharsal and end of the season show.
First Session (6 weeks)
November 5th to December 10th, 2023
Sunday 4:15 - 4:45 pm
Second Session (6 weeks)
December 17th, 2023 to February 18th, 2024*
Sunday 4:15 - 4:45 pm
*no lesson on Sunday, December 24th and on Sunday, December 31st.

Basic Skills
Fun, goal-oriented group lesson program. Skaters will receive Basic Skills instruction following Learn to Skate USA curriculum.
Levels: Basic Skills 1-6, and Pre-Free Skate through Free Skate.
Includes 2 group practices a week and participation in the end of season show.

Sunday 4:45 - 5:30 pm & Friday 6:00 - 7:00 pm

USFS - Freestyle
A program for skaters who have completed Basic Skills and want to advance in their individual skills.
Includes 2 ice sessions a week for private lessons/practice time, and participation in the end of season show.

Skaters must have an approved private coach.

Pre-juvenile through senior tests have been renamed to reflect a bronze, silver and gold pathFor all pattern dances, skaters may choose lead or follow track
The congratulatory test email is being revamped, so you can celebrate your skating journey accomplishments with your friends! Starting in August, these will go out monthly to include social sharing assets, store discounts and more to celebrate your achievement
What does this mean for you as a skater?
The name changes do not directly affect the elements within each test.

We encourage you to take tests to continually challenge yourself and your skating skills. Tests become more difficult as you advance, so each test passed is a huge accomplishment and cause for celebration!
Parents Guide Volume 2
As your skater progresses through the levels of U.S. Figure Skating, the tips in this parent guide will help lead you and your child to success. This guide book is for parents of children who have found an interest — perhaps even a passion — in skating and who are skating recreationally or beginning to enter competitive skating.
